Favorite role in education

My favorite position was mid-career when I was a TOSA (Teacher on Special Assignment) for our district’s multilingual department.  When I reflect on this time, I believe that the collaborative learning and resultive sharing our team fully engaged in was the reason why I loved this time.  We were a diverse team of five, and the high level of accountability and urgency we shared was exciting.

Retired elementary and middle school administrator for Beaverton School District, Oregon.  Classroom teacher (grades two through six), ESL Teacher, and TOSA for Multilingual Department prior to administration.

Currently, Adjunct Professor for George Fox University Administrative Licensure Program, consultant for various district’s Multilingual Departments for co-teaching implementation, long-term administrative substitute for Beaverton School District.
Locations of Experience

Primarily Beaverton, Oregon but currently working with rural and urban districts in Oregon, Washington, California, Alaska and Hawaii as well as students in Europe and Asia enrolled in licensure programs.
