CliftonStrengths Assessment
We ask each new Portico Coach to take the CliftonStrengths (formerly StrengthsFinder) assessment. Rachel Phillips will provide you with a prepaid code you can use to take the assessment.
The CliftonStrengths assessment measures your strengths — your natural patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving — and categorizes them into the 34 themes. The Portico coaching team typically engages in conversation and reflection around CliftonStrengths during the in-person coach training and uses it as a relationship-building tool between coaches and facilitators. Being aware of your strengths, and potential blind spots, can help make you a stronger coach. After you take the assessment and review your report, consider the following questions.
- What have you learned about yourself?
- How might this assessment influence your actions as a coach?
- Based on the results, what might you need to be keenly aware of when coaching others?
